Unsleeping is my web pseudonym and on the left you see my avatar swimming through the internet catching some information for my online tours.

I am the tour guide on these journeys where we explore different sources of online media circling around one topic. This section, however, is about my personal background and education as an environmental internet tour guide.

I come from Germany and live now in Australia (Melbourne). I studied and researched in Germany and Australia mainly about topics, which connect natural science with political science and economics.  I am fucusing on  resource  related topics , which  are embedded in a critical discussion like  the run out of our water resources  or  mining uranium.  Closely connected and not less exciting  are the effects on human beings, animals and their health due to climate change , like  „natural“ desasters,  diseases and sinking islands.

Due to my interest in arts and culture in both of my „homes“- Germany and Australia- some of the tours will also reflect these topics or will combine them like topic related art projects.

I am working with the weblin software as a tool for the online tours, where I am affiliated with as a moderator.

Ihr findet meinen Weblin Avatar unsleeping oft bei einem abendlichen (MEZ) Tauchgang auf der webseite von weblin.com. Da ich mich derzeit in Australien aufhalte, bin ich somit immer 10 Stunden der Mitteleuropäischen Zeit vorraus.

Um genau zu sein bin ich gerade in der Kulturhochburg Australiens: Melbourne und habe vorher im wunderschönen Hamburg gewohnt. Hafenstädte und wie ihr auch schon an meinem Avatar sehen könnt liebe ich das Wasser und den Strand. Darum anstatt eines langatmigen Profils nehme ich euch mit auf meine fast tägliche Strandtour:

Ja, in Melbourne sind die bunten Strandhütten sozusagen die Strandkörbe Sylts. Nicht weit von Melbourne ist auch die Great Ocean Road zu finden. Felsformationen in die ich mich einfach schon bei meinem ersten Aufenthalt verliebt habe.

Ein Grund warum auch auf diesem Blog und meinen Touren immer wieder der Schutz dieser athemberaubenden Natur ein Thema sein wird.
